Slimeball sps help

Hey guys! I have had this slimeball sps for a while and now it’s getting these spots where it’s loosing it’s green color... (circled in black) any ideas why that would be?

Looks like growth if it is on the tips or select areas that will be new branches.. here is mine for a point of reference.

No it’s not on the tips it’s in the middle of the branches....

Any chance to get a more detailed picture under more white light (or with an orange filter)?

I looked at this for quite awhile. It looks like the start of coralline algae growing on dead coral. I dont see much polyp extention. It dose not have much green skin either. Can you blow it off with a turkey baster? If you can its cyano algae. Do you have a pic when you got it. How long have you had it and how old is the tank?

Cyano is a bacteria not a algae.

Hmm something is amiss and it does not look happy. Parameters look good. Have you increased light recently, changed flow, or had nutrients bottom out?
