Slimer Too Big?

So the slimer and bubblegum digi clearly grow faster than everything else in the tank. My wife thinks it's too big for the space. What do you guys think?

Cut it back?

Remove it completely?

Keep as is?

Nothing wrong with this scenario. I have a copps cali reaching the top and about to cut a few and replant them

Personally I would cut it back a little bit so the other corals can catch up in size. That said, I love the look of corals that size as it reminds of how they look in the wild.

Cut back the lower stems and should look pretty good.

That thing taking over. Wish I could get mine going. He barely survived a Fluconazole tx and then got Spionid worms. Fragged them out and it’s basing much better, but it’s in the lowest light corner in the tank. May have to move it.


Do you know the par on yours?

350-400 par. I have 4 G5 XR-30 pros on a 5' tank. They run ~80% intensity.

cut it back. it does take away from the other corals but it could just be from the growth pattern
