I have a wild thin branched acro that is real sensitive to the slightest alk swing. My alk jump from 8.5 to 8.9 over 3 days and this acro was not happy and started dying while no other acros were effected. Got it back down to 8.5 and it started encrusting over the dead spot. On Friday my cal reactor hose got clogged and again a small all spike caused it to start dying again. Last incident happened late November this incident was last Friday. Anyone else have a alk sensitive acro?

Here is the acro. You can see the new dead area if the coral in the middle left and you can see the new growth on the right where the first incident happened. Sorry for bad pic it's a ugly acro so it's in the back of the tank lol
