I’ve posted pictures of this crab before but haven’t landed on a solid ID. As the crab continues to mature, the patterns on its carapace are becoming more evident. Any thoughts?

If your rock or sand is from the Florida/Caribbean areas you might want to email a pic to Reefcleaners.com. They're perhaps most likely to have seen something like this...

at least its kinda cool looking, i personally, would keep it it if it wasn't hurting anything else in the tank.
Oh for sure! I do not take things out of the tank until I have multiple confirmations that the critter is harmful. So far, the only creatures I have removed are whelks.
