Small white tentacles coming from live rock?

I've had a piece of live rock in my tank from when I first cycled it, it didn't seem to have any animals in it. My tanks been running for around 8 months now. Just today my little brother noticed some small white/clear anemone looking tentacles coming out of the back of the live rock! When we came to inspect it and came close to the glass it moved back very suddenly. Does anyone know what this little guy is?

That's an appy. It's best to remove it.

oh alright, is there a way that I should do that it's pretty deep in the rock any suggestions?

There are a couple methods but as you only have the one...I'd just superglue the sucker.

I use Aptasia-X to get rid of the ones that pop up once and a while. It comes with a needle with a bent tip that makes it easy to get to hard to reach places.

I've used boiling water in a syringe to get rid of them.

I've used boiling water as well and it works.
