Just tough I’d share on here the latest hitchhiker. Not sure if It will survive but it’s a way to get 2 more pics of this coral on the internet.

Thanks for the link! They seem to think its nps?? Will be very interesting to see develop!

they do, they also not 100% sure if that’s correct because of the polyps, even tough that it may sound ridiculous for some, I’ve come to suspect that this may be some sort of a sponge. I’ve only got my frag for 2 days now and was able to take two small frags to a couple friends to try and give it a survival chance. Each trying a different way to keep it alive.
Would definitely be good to hear from R2R community they’re thoughts on the best chances of survival for this coral.

I can't see it being a sponge....i would feed like an nps just to be safe. Really hope some others with it chime in!

ive tried today to target feed it for the first time, no response to feedings just yet.

These are interesting. I’d love to see with all open. Almost reminds me of a zoa mat with an alveopora type head.

The frag I got is not as vibrant in colour is a bit of a baby blue at the moment. And the polyps are way smaller maybe the same size as the average sps. Am not sure if it is on its way out or just starting to grow.

Update with pics when they open up. I’m curious to see
They trying to open but not expanded if you know what I mean
