Hi Everyone,

Been a little busy and haven't really started this new thread off in the right place... The tank is filled and stocked already...

It was all a bit of a blur... I swapped tanks with a local fellow reefer here in the UK so had my stock in plastic buckets and a new dry tank... Or so I thought... Turns out the tank wasn't as great a find as I first thought with about 1m worth of internal scratches to the glass that I didn't see until it was almost full of water with time running out to get my stock in...

A week later I was in hospital out of the blue and remained there for several weeks... My wife and son did their very best keeping the tank topped up and running... Reporting in daily on the stocks condition and temp. Etc...

I lost a few corals a smashing purple torch and a lime green hammer both with several heads each but that was all and to be honest I was happy with that considering...

Now a few months in and everything is back to normal... I still have the scratches to deal with at some point but everything is happy and growing... Will get some pictures uploaded as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading.

Well that didn't last long.... Christmas Day about an hour before dinner the front right seam decided to split 9" from the top and tried to dump 200ltrs of water on the floor... My son and I managed to siphon out a lot of the water and I managed to save the tank with the help of a ratchet strap...

Long story short this tank thread is now closed as I had to buy a new tank... Redheads Reefer 525xl... Already up and running will start another thread..
