I picked this snail off a stag as it was making its way up it, leaving a bleached path trail but polyps behind. About an 1/8 inch in size? Anyone know what it maybe? Thanks I thought it was just a baby turbo but thinking not now the opening doesnt seem correct for a sundial as it is under not around

Some kind of Limpet snail I'd say. I have seen them in my tanks, but never on corals. Might just be the mucus left behind or something?
