Snail identification

Bought a snail at my lfs told it was a elephant snail but researched it and it's not that can't id it including a video

Yeah, that's not even close to an Elephant Slug/Snail - the snail you've got there is definitely a meat-eating snail. I can't say for sure, but my gut says that's a predatory snail of some kind from the superfamily Buccinoidea.

Probably not - predatory snails typically eat other snails and bivalves (clams, oysters, mussels, etc.); some eat other critters too though.

You can test it by putting it in a container with another small snail and see if it eats it; some meat-eating snails (like Nassarius and Cerith snails) are detritivores rather than predators, and these wouldn't eat another live snail - so detritivores are safe to keep, predators are not.

I don't have any snails or bivalves I just have hermit crabs and one peppermint shrimp

Most predatory snails would leave those alone (a few would try to eat them); if you don't have any test snails to offer to see if it's predatory, then I'd probably say to just sump it to be safe and keep it as a little sump monster - you'd just need to feed probably once a day.

I have an aio red sea max nano I'd have to put it in the back or I could take it to another lfs because I got it with store credit

In that case, I'd see if an LFS or local hobbyist would take it.
