Snail with clam on it

Have you ever seen a snail with a clam growing on the shell? I ordered some astrea snails the other day and noticed this guy on the glass today.

Yeah. I always end up with weird things. It may be common but it’s the first one I’ve seen like that.

Yeah- I do. Although I think the snail is technical the hitchhiker since the bivalve is so freaking big.

That’s a Super CUC snail , cleans the glass and any algae that floats off gets sucked in and cleaned LOL
On side note I have a clam that a hairy mushroom has attached too . Any thoughts on got to separate w/o harming the clam

I used to have one that grew his own green hair algae and would contort around and eat it off his own back. He had a little barnacle too
