Snails eating Yellow Coris Wrasse

I woke up today to find my Nassarius Snails eating my Yellow Coris Wrasse that I put in the tank yesterday. He was already dead I assume? I doubt the snails killed him, correct?

Sorry to hear but yup the snails wouldn’t have been able to kill him. There just the clean up crew doing there job.

Correct. It died then snails did their job.
