So it seems all of my snails have stopped moving, however they are still attached to the rocks. It's been over a week now with no movement.

I'm guessing If they were dead, they would topple off into the sand right?

Trochus, turbos and nassarius.

High magnesium is supposed to paralyse them, however, I have no idea if that’s fact or myth, never having high magnesium myself.

If you check your magnesium let us know what it came to. If they begin moving again after reducing it, let us know please. I have seen snails recover from what we thought was magnesium poisoning. Magnesium can definitely paralyze snails, the debate is over how high the concentration has to be. When scientists use it to anesthetize they tend to use levels we do not see in aquariums, so there are gaps in knowledge that need to be filled in:

(Direct pdf link^, downloads a book )

One way to test is if that is the issue is use freshly mixed salt with distilled water, and see if they come back to life.

Just checked my mag and it's 1440 which isn't too high.

I noticed when I put some pellets in, the nassarius came up from the sand very slow, but moving.
