My snake polyps will often “shed” a very thin, cloudy layer off themselves, but I’ve never seen it bubble up like this (clearly seen on the polyp on far left). Thoughts? Anyone know why they shed in the first place?

Never even seen that Coral. Any other pictures.
I’ve not seen many of them around! I got it for $15 dollars from a vendor at a local club meet, I believe it was Incredible Corals?
they're pretty similar to a zoa, but they’re nocturnal and open up to feed at night.
