I grabbed a few conch like shells for my Halloween hermits bc they are oh so picky about finding the exact shell to upgrade to and when I got home I was about to boil them in water and as soon as I put this shell in this little guy poked his legs and started doing the splits. So I moved him to a saltwater bowl to check him out and I'm shocked he survived. I've never had a brittle starfish before so I hope he's reef safe? He's determined to live bc he was in an empty plastic bag w the other shells the whole way home and then survived a freshwater dip so I think he deserves a spot in my tank ;Shy Sneaky little ******* tho lol
