Don't get me wrong. I believe there is always a chance if you can give two fish that are not the best compatibility the right sleeping spaces. So they are waking up well rested and feel like there is no need for a territorial throw down. That is one issue out of the way. Next is food, swimming room for them to burn off their need to swim back and forth all day, and things to interest them to inspect as they are cruising around. You can pull it off. Some people say use a mirror if one is getting to that bullying frame of mind. There are plenty of wrasse that are compatible. There is one graph someone had made. I will try to find it.

Thanks! That’s some good insight and thoughts to think about. Since i have a 50g cube i think wrasses would be a good option because I’m much too small for tangs and other fish people dedicate their tanks for.
