Soda ash effectiveness overtime

Does Soda Ash loose its effectiveness over time? I seem to have to keep increasing my dosing amount overtime and then when I refill my soda ash container i can reduce my dosing back to the beginning.

No, it cannot loose effectiveness on storage unless you add water to dilute it or calcium to precipitate it.

Perhaps when your container is low, the dosing pump is struggling to lift it, underdosing. Wobbly alk would result. I'd be checking the peristaltic tube and rotors.
