You must have sand bed. A 50 gallon or more tank will be fine. He sleeps in sand only. Looking for loving and caring new tank-home for him.

We loved him in the mix3d reef tank but I need to add Peppermint shrimp t9 control my tank aiptesia... but cannot risk with large existing Melanerous... so need to rehome him asap.
