Older model EB832s had a known defect with the internal 12v power supply. It results in no power at the outlets and tends to occur after a power flicker. I designed an upgraded power supply, and now there are over 115 EB832s in the wild with this solution. It will have either a Meanwell power supply or the standard power supply upgraded to brand name capacitors to fix the issue.

Question - I have an EB832 that went bad after a power surge/flicker. Is it likely that the 12V power supply you mention as the upgrade is the culprit, and if so, could I replace it and fix my unit?
