Some new pictures...using new macro lense

Got this 50mm macro lense today from craigslist cheap. Still learning how to use it.
What do you think ?? I am sucks in taking pictures.:neutral:

Just a quick tip, if you want a critique, it is better to post 3-5 of your BEST images, then we can help pinpoint what is going wrong and where.

My first observation is that you need a tripod, and you need to keep the camera lens perpendicular to the front glass. You can usually get away with a slight angle, but there is a LOT of distortion in some of those.

Read the photo stickies at the top of the forum, especially the depth of field one, it should help a little. ;)
 
i think you need a tripod and maybe a remote to take the pics. it will be less blurry.
 
The kind that eliminates camera shake! ;)

You should be able to find a quality tripod for about $100 or so, they can go WAY up from there of course. Manfrotto, SLIK, Bogen.... Those are good names.
