After hurricane Irma came thru, and we lost power for 9 days, I lost everything in my reef tank...mostly do to 90° plus temps in my house. I drained the tank, pulled all the rock, let it cure in saltwater for a week, cleaned out tank, and out everything back in and let is recycle. It cycled quickly, and now my tank is recovering fine.
But never seen this....this started growing on one of my rocks. My wife says leave it...but not sure what it is!
Any guess??

A scroll algae. And she is right.
Thanks for your input! I've never seen before! I'm so glad I decided against what my lfs suggested ( either starting off with new rock, or bleaching what I have...rinse, let dry ,check, make sure clear of any bleach and start fresh)
I was hoping not to lose at least my coraline algae, as well as some macro algae...and possible any other small growths....this is an added bonus :)

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
