I can't keep sps alive! No idea why. No issues with lps or zoas. Coraline algae growing, clams doing well. Everything seems good except sps.

Water parameters
Salinity .026ish
Alk 9.2
Calcium 435
Phosphate .03 during last ICP test 2 weeks ago

Radion G4 pro set at 40% ab+
4 T5 bulbs. 3 blue plus 1 purple pluS
set about 10" above the tank

3 mp10qd
Nyos skimmer
Chemi pure blue bag in media cup

Just started dosing other methods to help stabalize alk.

I'm at a loss. I don't know what to check next or change. ICP test came back with adding iodine.

Anyone have suggestions?

I'm losing them so fast that I don't think it's too clean. I haven't seen any pests as of yet

How long has the system been running? What size is the tank? Can you post your ICP results?
Should have posted this to begin with!

Tank is a waterbox cube. In the 50 gallon range
Tank has been up and running about 14 months

It could be parameter swings, a friend of mine was adding buffer to get his alk up was killing sps but his LPS and zoos were fine. Once he switched to a kalk drip his sps started doing great

PSU/SG is a bit low per ICP. Alk is a bit high for my liking based on low nutrients. Have you tried any starter sps like monti or birdsnest?

Here is a good example of whats happening!

What do you suggest on Alk? Always my biggest problem. My tanks always seem to run low (below 8) if I'm not dosing.

Thinking maybe pull the chemipure blue?

Really appreciate everyone's response here

8 dkh seems to be considered a good base line. The ICP test you did looks like it has recommended values on the right hand side. I keep my tank as close as I can to 7.5 dkh.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
