Excuse the dirty glass... But it looks like last night someone got busy in my tank. I'm assuming they belong to an invertebrate of some type... Anyone got a clue?

I know they're snail eggs just wondering if anyone knew what kind. What makes you say they won't hatch?

Nerite eggs, I believe they need brackish water.

Most likely Collinista. There are a few snail types that make it to hatch and survive, Collonista, Stomatella, Rissoid, Pyramidellid. If the off spring have to go through a planktonic larval stage the chance of survival is greatly diminished. This is the reason you do not see Hermits reproduce successfully.

Mine are mostly limpets and some other kind of snail. They kind of look like sundials which scares me but I never see them on my zoas. Im gonna have to take a good pic and post for a positive ID.
