I looked noticed that the tail of my mandarin had a chunk taken off of it. The fish seems fine otherwise.
(from last night)
I looked at my tank a few minutes ago and saw this!
Possible culprits (that I know of) are:
2 emerald crabs, both juvenile (smaller than a dime) and skittish
1 Porcelain crab, slow as balls
blue spotted jawfish, barks at the mandarin but never bit it
large hermit, claws seem a bit to small to do any real damage
female clown, very aggressive but doesn't stray away from its duncan
male clown, same as above but less aggressive
based on the bite mark(s) what could it be?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
