Something is eating my anthias tail alive

His tail seems to be disintegrating more and more by the day. Anything I can do?

That sure looks like an active infection, very serious! Do you have a treatment tank you can move it into? If so, I would dose it there with a broad spectrum, gram negative antibiotic like Neomycin or Kanamycin. There is a chance that this is a rare fungal infection, I can't see clearly though. In that case, a 75 ppm formalin dip will help, but those are tricky; difficult to source formalin and toxic to people.

I feel so bad for it ): it’s still eating but swimming less. Usually perched up on a rock. This looks like it couldn’t go away on its own huh?

From what I could see, there seems to be massive tissue damage. Maybe the picture isn't showing the real story? Can you try a clearer picture and video?
