Any suggestions on what i should do?

Thanks.

it looks like a piece of poop, nems will spit it out and let the water flow carry it off. But it's hard to really tell from the pics. Does it have any appendages, or does it move?

Hi expert, Just a quick update. I don't see the black/dark stuff on the coral anymore.
