Something is spawning in my tank right now (no pics)

I noticed these white dots floating around happen to see where they were coming from. I was using a flashlight looking for aptasia. I noticed this tube/tentacle filled with tiny white balls. It looked about an inch long and maybe 1/8th inch thick. Looked like 100’s came out. Then when it was done it retracted back into the rocks. Lights are out and pictures weren’t possible. I wonder what it is.
