What’s happening my reef peeps I need to share with you something extremely heartfelt and touching to start with I don’t think I’ve ever met a group of people that actually feel like a tight community since I left professional wrestling and the generosity and compassion that runs through this website from all around the world is just amazing so to get to what I wanted to share this is what happened
A couple of weeks ago I was reading on this site about a gentleman that was the recipient of some generosity from other members I thought it was a great post and I commented on how nice it was to know such great people still exist in times like this anyway at the end of my comment I jokingly put in hey if anybody wants to buy me a light feel free mine just broke yesterday,,
ha ha LOL thinking nothing of it just being silly. Well the next day I got a PM from a gentleman asking me what kind of light I had that just broke because he wanted to send me a new one well I could tell you this I was floored but could not believe that he actually reached out and made an offer like that well the first thing I did was write him back and thank over and over again for his generosity and his offer but there is no way I could except a gift like that in times like this when so much worse is going on in people’s lives right now and especially if they have had a death in the family,, Also I was always the guy who did charity offers and benefits and fundraisers when I was actively wrestling around my community because it was the right thing to do I have never in my life been on the other end of it,, So I told him I could not except this generosity and thanked him profusely for thinking of me ,,well that night my wife talked to me and said that it’s OK to except help every once in a while and it would be all right if somebody did something like that for you since of all the other things that you’ve done in your career for others, this virus has everyone in a situation.
So I wrote this gentleman back and I let him know that I had second thoughts and I think him and I gave him my address and I excepted his gift not just for me but for my fish and my coral I did not want them to suffer any longer than they had to without proper lighting
It showed up two days ago and it is awesome there is nothing better than a new light and how well it looks and my corals reacted almost right away
The reason I’m telling this extremely long drawn out story is is that I just want everybody in the Aquarium Hobby world and all around the country that this website reaches to know.When people join up and you see them in the meet and greet section I just want them all to know how awesome everybody is on this website is ,, this act of kindness is something I will never ever forget and spend a long time paying it forward
