So my leather coral seems to be healthy. But I noticed that there are a few small chunks missing from it. I only have some hermits, a sally lightfoot grab, and a skunk cleaner shrimp. Is this just a side effect of shedding??

I'd be looking at that Sally Lightfoot crab real hard, they are not really reef-safe, they get big and can be terrors. They can bring down fish in some cases. That's an animal that can live in your sump, back at the fish store, or out in the ocean, but it's not a great resident for a reef tank with corals.

It's possible the hermits are having a snack too 🙂

Good luck!
