You do realize that the chamber where the pump is located ( return chamber) is the only one that will change its level due to evapiration. The tank level and other chambers will not drop. With significant evaporation over days then the other back chambers can drop once the flow stops. That is why the return chamber in these small tanks is a terrible place to put the heater.

Yeah definitely evaporation happening. That back chamber is small I believe on the 20g Nuvo I have it’s right around 1Gal only. An ato is essential to nano tanks imo! I’m setting up a 13.5 and I’ll be topping it if at least once a day and if I have any trips I’ll use a gravity ato
