The blue light in my reef tank doesnt help out at all but a week ago i started seeing these bright orange spots on my live rock. Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks so much!!

thats more than bad lol, the pics are terrible! I know my coraline turns bright like that when it dies, usually on the overflow when it has had air contact for a few minutes

Could be a lot of things. One that hasn't been mentioned yet is tunicates. I see similar bright colored spots on my rock occasionally. They've never caused a problem and have eventually faded away so I didn't worry about a positive ID.
