Sooo. . . think she'll notice?

This thread is hilarious!!!

How about just telling her the truth!! I think you can also get her to see why it’s a good thing you found out the table could break so easily instead of it breaking like that from your daughter dropping something on it. She might be grateful if you put it like that!

What is WRONG with you? The TRUTH? Geesh. . . why start now? :p

I say, tell her you were minding your own business when a small ninja game up and tried to steal the doors! You thinking swiftly moved them out of harms way. But the ninja went after you! So you flipped him accidentally into the table. We are all lucky to know such a hero.

Well, Wifey came home. Asked what had happened, asked if I was OK, asked if the dogs walked in glass. . .then said:

"I've been looking for an excuse to change that table. I've been sick of looking at it."  :D

Lucky you!

I've owned one glass table and I wish you would have broken it. You can never keep them clean. Every time you set something on it or touch it you have to break out the Windex. Hated it.

I've got the perfect one in mind (edited: found a nicer one):

In all honesty it'd probably been better if the glass had sliced open a femoral artery and I bled out on the floor. We've had that table since we've been married. My wife's at volleyball practice with our daughter; I've already cleaned everything up and there's just empty space there.

Right now I'm banking on the "Table? What table?" strategy.
Hahah oh man I’m so sorry. Hopefully she looks at it as a chance for an upgrade
