Sorry getting hammered by bots again this morning!

Wow, Reef2Reef has a fight mode! Who knew?

Now we are probably targeted for first take down in the final uprising. lol

I was going to ask AI to create an official R2R Fight Club logo but I thought that would be in bad taste considering the topic! 😋
Do it Rev!!
I want to thank you for staying on top of this bot issue. I know it is a daunting task, but ... THANK YOU!!

“AI” is seemingly starting to go against its own programming now. I had one call out my location (state) even though I didn’t mention it. It said “Oops! Sorry! I wasn’t supposed to do that without your permission”.
i brought up that I planned to use shaped profile glass rods in a project while googling last night…

Unsurprisingly, the AI asked me for detailed information on the manufacturing process three separate times, despite me specifically stating that i didn't feel comfortable sharing the details the first time I was asked…

This is an amazing thread and the discussion here has sparked an interesting idea that might help improve the quality of web browsing and content management for future generations who want to use the platform for learning about an area of knowledge and application from the available sources, but don’t know what sources are reliable in specific situations.

Perhaps a certified badge for subject matter experts could be created and monitored by the site that is added to the users profile to recognize and indicates their status as a reliable source of knowledge and information in specific areas. In this instance, Randy’s profile would have a (rare) badge for chemistry, and applied chemistry in the aquatic environment.

Other badges for areas of expertise in medicine, aquatic science applications (marine microbiology as an example specialty), similar to university degree diplomas could be used if the owners and administrators would engage in the in depth effort to develop and provide a comprehensive certification for these types of interactions.

Not another badge, but if it were to become a thing, I would like to be certified as a Human, and a person who tries hard to make people laugh about the challenges we all face in life and the intersections of humor and written communication, with wit and kindness when we encounter the challenges we face in reefing.

I am leaving the doctors office and heading to the store to pick up a prescription for tomorrow’s adventure. Godspeed and Googling until then

Y'all let me know if FROM THIS POST forward you're running into any cloudflare challenges or issues on the forum. ONLY from this post only! I will update if need be. Thank you.

I'm also seeing that again really bad this morning. I've tried deleting site cookies, but nothing seems to help.

Thanks for the quick response Jay, yeah the last few days have been just getting worse ... 😵‍💫

I’ll take a look and see what I can find! At times it’s like finding a needle in a haystack or throwing darts at a dartboard with a blindfold on. Dang bots! 🤪

I prefer to be called an automated intelligent information retrieval, assimilation and reuse system (AIIRARS). Pronounced "Air Ours". Bot is so early 2000's. A first of a kind, powered primarily by organic material that your kind calls "bacon".
