Spamming Emails?

I got it too, I only used my work email on this site, seems to me that you went through people profiles and got their emails. I have never signed up with anything with Buy The Reef using my work email. I have unsubscribed as the way you got the emails are not cool.

I think evrybody needs to take a chill......I can see if it was for viagra or **** or something but making a big stink over a stand up sponsor of this site for the last few years sending out an e-mail is a little overboard. It was one e-mail and about stuff we like Corals.....Not Cialis, Viagra, **** or date sites......With all the crap e-mails that get sent out for who knows what you guys are gonna make a big stink over Buy the Reef sending out an update of their new site......All you have to do is hit delete or unsubscribe....Takes what 20 seconds out of your day?

I actually got the email, but I am signed up. ;) I do get emails from other companies I have never even heard of that sell coral. Not sure how they got my email though. Honestly though I don't care to get them, I just unsubscribe or keep them.

It is a big deal. I got spam to two of my email addresses that I shouldn't be getting email from about crap from a fish store. I agree with knowing where you got it from, playing the crap you saved them up over the years doesnt fly. OPT IN is OPT IN, its not a well since we have the email address we might as well use it..

What ever there are more important things to worry about these days.....It was an e-mail big f'n deal get over it......Delete or unsubscribe let them know in a PM. To make a big *** deal over an e-mail is one of the problems with people these days.....everything has to be made a mountain out of a mole hill, something that can be taken care of easily and without fuss, the guy apologized and said a few ways to take care of it and it wouldn't happen again.....If that is all you have to worry about then I applaud you.

There are far worse sale tactics I have seen and had used against others and me, an e-mail is by far the least benevolent I have seen.....
It's not like the test e-mails that some of us get from another vendor that was coming in at 15-20 a day, that is irritating day after day. But add it to the spam filter and BAM don't deal with them any more problem solved......

Listen I have noticed that there was some talk or speculation about R2R selling our email list. This is not true and will never be true. I don't like slander and I take great offense to this. I have been sent a message that brought some of this to light for me so I want to settle it. For those of you who want to say that this was the fault of R2R, I advise you to tread lightly as I will take it very seriously. I will go ahead and be in contact with my lawyer about steps necessary to stop these malicious rumors if it continues.
