I'm considering doing the same for my new 200G2. I can't keep the water stable with the Reefmat, every time I shutdown the return pump for feeding/maintenance, after I turn it back on the water level rise in the skimmer box into the emergency drain which lowers my water level in the return chamber and activate my ATO dropping a crazy amount of RO water. Currently I need to manually close my ATO for 30min, afterward the water level will "balance" itself back to normal.

All that to say, can you please let me know what part/size did you end up using. Your help would be greatly appreciated, this valve is currently the bane of my existence haha.

Can you show how you ended up installing the gate valve? Did you convert metric to standard?

You can get a metric gate valve, or adapt to imperial if you so-choose!
