Specific Coral Name

Hello,

This was an extra throw in from my LCS guy because it was on a larger branch with some Mushrooms I bought, then the branch broke off. I was wondering the specific name of this coral. I've had it laying on my sand bed since it's on a branch. Any recommendations on where would be a good place for it?

Zoas (zoanthid) or button polyps. They like medium light medium to low flow. I keep them on an island in the sandbed.

Thank you. I knew they were some kind of Zoas, but didn't know which exact type. I should just leave them on the sandbed then? I have a few other zoas glued on a low level rock that I'm trying to create a little Zoa Garden with.

Cant help there, sorry. There are so many different kinds and different names for the same kind even.
My favorite cluster of zoas right now are some little red ones that found a broken piece of forest fire digi on the sand. There are like 20 heads now and the digi is still growing out the end lol. I would say if you like them, add them to your garden! Only thing to watch out for is some like to grow long stalks and others don't. The long stalkers will eventually shade out the shorter ones, so i like to keep long with long and short with short. These look like the short variety.

Thank you so much. They're so small so I haven't paid much attention to them. Right now I'm in love with a couple Rasta Zoas I recently purchased. Hoping I can build from them.
