I finally got a rodi system,got tired of buying water from Lfs and driving there all the time. It's a used spectra pure that I got with purchase of red sea max tank I just got. It has 3 membranes,my questions is if it takes out the chlorine that is in the city water?

It should be removing chlorine, you'll want to buy some tests to find out for sure. Also a hand held TDS meter is a must, I think anyway. The 3 filters in the clear canisters need to be changed on a rotating schedule to prolong the life of your membrane.

And I just saw I put 3 membranes, I meant to put 4 stage.
