Aquarium Specialty is pleased to announce that they have the 1st shipment of Speedwave DC Controllable pumps arriving this Thursday. The 3 models range in GPH from 790, 1320 and 2640 GPH and the respective model numbers are DC790, DC1320 and DC2640. Each pumps features 6 speed settings and a 10 minute feed timer. We feel these pumps will be a good alternative to the former DC3000, DC500 and DC10000 pumps that are discontinued and being replaced with the DC4000, DC6000, DC12000 and eventual DC20000 controllable DC pumps. I have to say these are the most quiet pumps ever. I have one in my rlls skimmer and you can not even hear it, i am not joking I have to put my ear right up to it. I have since picked one up for my return too.

Good to know. I have one for my 210 gal upgrade return. Got the 1320 GPH, however I have decided to put everything in the cellar. So, because of the head height, i'm gunna have to run the 2640 at a low speed.
