Just wondering how many splice owners out there that have mostly green or red coloration? I have a frag that I picked up that is all green. Will it develop any of the red or do I need to find a red piece to merge with mine? Anyone with a red frag of splice they want to trade for a green frag?
Thanks
Jeff

So I haven't fragged mine much. Just a few recently, and they are still healing. None of mine are completely green, they all have at least a little red, but I have heard of some people getting one that is only green, and the red still came out. I'll be watching the ones I cut to see if the red becomes more prominent as they heal, and I'll report back here.

So I got my hands on a nice piece of splice. Thing is, it is all green as well. It is already encrusting but if anyone can confirm that the reds will develop over time I would be even happier. If not, I have a really nice green milli I guess

Thats great news . Really appreciate the response.
You’re welcome! It’s quite an amazing piece. I love that the colors are in its dna. I thought I got ripped off, I had a very small nub and so it took about a year for the red to come in. But when it does, it goes crazy

I can confirm that the reds will come in. Here's an example - the pics below are the same frag. The second pic is 3 months after the first. This frag is sold, but I have others :)

Finally got my PO4 figured out and the splice is taking off.
Very interesting seeing the variation in colors between these splices. I wonder if it would look the same in person and the phone cameras are throwing things off.

Yeah, I've been on the fence with this one trying to decide whether or not I wanted to pay the commanding price, and also, if it was just another hyped up novel acro. I have noticed in regards to pricing, that it seems that the mostly solid green frags sell for ~$500 less.

Sure it may look different the way the colors come in, but what’s the difference between any other coral that morphs?
