Likely adjustment to lighting or flow especially if lights just came on. They will swell prior to a split and shrivel if there is insufficient light intensity
 
Looks like a BTA just being a BTA. Could be as simple as it flushing a portion of its oral disk.
 
Thanks all, my lady at home sent me picture all concerned. Gonna tell her its just relieving itself.
