I have 2 hairy mushrooms in my tank.

I have a green one and a purple one. The green one despite being hosted and nibbled by a clownfish is getting bigger and puffier by the day.
The purple one however has gotten smaller even tho it’s left alone by the clownfish.
It started doing this weird thing and it’s been about 2 days of this. It seems like it’s stretching itself apart

The guts and mouth seem to be exposed and not sure if that’s how a splitting mushroom looks like and how long will it take to split and heal. Or if it’s dying because I don’t think seeing coral guts is a good thing?

Attached are the 2 different hairy mushrooms in my tank
