What is the longest time it's taken a BTA to finish splitting?
I had a singe Rainbow BTA that has split twice and each time it seemed to split almost overnight. So, I had 3 BTA's from the first one and the largest one seems like it's splitting again. It's now heart shaped with the crease in the tip of the heart going to the mouth but it's been sitting like that for at least a week. Just curious if someone has experienced a nem in the process of splitting for a long time.

This one that is splitting was 6" and I was thinking I'd finally get one to be on the large size. It seems when they get to about that size they split - at least in my tank. I feed them blended sea food mix almost every day along with the fish. I wonder if that's too much. It's only small bits they get though.

Mine took a year then split for some reason and now #2 is wandering around the tank!

I've gone from one to four. Once they split, they all stay on the same rock though. They do move around the rock a bit, but haven't left.
