Sponge is killing my gsp. How do i kill it!?

Some sponges can die when exposed to air. If that rock removable? You might try removing it from the tank and letting it be exposed for a couple of minutes. Just make sure you rinse it well before returning it to your tank as sponges can release toxins, especially when dead/dying.

Also, it may not hurt to run carbon for a few days afterwards just in case.
