I have a coral beauty that developed a white spot about midline at the begining of his tail earlier this week. Its not ich.
It's about bb sized, kinda looks like a bleach spot on blue jeans.
The spot has now become raised and I now see the whiteness on the other side of its body.
Ive looked at parasites and other diseases on the net but can't find something that looks like this.

I have taken 50+ pictures but can nvr get a good clear one.
Its a 50 gal corner. I have 2 clowns not nesting (they all get along), a few zoas, a couple paly pollops, a carpet anemone, and a very reclusive bta.
Nothing has been added in weeks and water is fine.

Anyone have an idea of what it is??

My foxface had a similar sounding issue and it was described to be as "acne". After a week or so it just fell off and has never returned. Just as long as the fish is eating and breathing normal I wouldn't worry to much about it!
