Spotted mandarin in its favorite spot

My diamond and mandarin play nice in my 75 gallon. Seems they have different food sources- sand vs rocks.

Yeah I didn't think about from that perspective. I am definitely getting one.

Thank you! I had one in my old tank 17 years ago, and it did great. I think besides parameters, the key to success with them is a consistent copepod population.

My copepod population has been stable with the mandarin in the tank, but it’ll eat frozen food with every feeding so Im worried about this less now.
