Spray foam background

Has anyone every built a spray foam background? I have been thinking about doing it. And using sand and crushed up live rock to cover it. Then I will be able to also glue in some frag plug holders. I have seen the stuff at Home Depot for ponds, it is supposed to be fish safe. But would that also be saltwater safe?

What is the lifespan of spray foam? Will it leech chemicals?

Yeah. I was thinking about doing that. I was kind of hoping someone local had one, so I could go see it up close. But I seem to be out of luck.
