Spring into Reefing! What's your BIG plans?

YES!!! Spring is right around the corner and I for one am super happy about it! We're actually sunny and 70 today here in North Georgia! :)

Thinking about spring gets me excited and also get me thinking about what it holds for reefing hobbyists and what plans and ideas you may have ready to put into action. So let's talk about it today!

1. Do you have any special reefing upgrades or projects planned coming up?

2. What makes you most excited in reefing right now?

I'm building a diy algae turf scrubber. I haven't had luck with chaeto in the past. I'm excited to see the sun here in Northern Ohio. It's 55° today!!

I’m hoping to finally set up my first tank this year! I’ve been researching and saving for what feels like forever!

Oh boy do I ever! Still getting my first system running. On the list for the next few months, kinda in order.....
Battery backup
Observation tank and hospital backup
First fish and coral!
More light

2. What makes you most excited in reefing right now?

My system is only 4 months running, very new and exciting in all regards. The most thrilling thing for me is still watching the life emerge from the aquacultured live rock. Completely fascinating seeing different things struggle and thrive. And an extreme exercise in patience to not react hastily or excessively!

Sump being added to my existing 90 gallon via HoB overflow. Rona set me back a ways due to owning a new business and the economy crashing. Already have bits and pieces of my future 300 gallon collecting dust. Figured I'd spend a little upgrading my 90 gallon until I purchase the house I need for the 300.

Looking to do some spring cleaning from the “ugly stage” of the initial cycle and really participate in an upcoming live sale to get things rolling!

Couple planned upgrades going on...

1) Get rid of my G5 Radions and go back to halides. This is already happening

2) Dump my AI Nero pumps and go back to Tunze (just happened)

3) Upgrade to a 250g peninsula and start a YT channel documenting it all
