After all of the guessing i only added 1/3 of a cup. I know I know its a small amount but I just remember how upset I was when I lost most of my SPS the last time. I also added a cup of carbon in the 2nd chamber of the dual reactor. Probably will change out the GFO in a week and move to a half cup. Thanks for your help guys.

I have a 100 gallon system, and literally started with 6 tablespoons, and slowly moved up to 12. That's all it took to get my phosphates down

1 cup in my 200g system took it from .5 to .05 overnight when I've used it. Test kits only read inorganic phos. If u have gha with 0 phos the algae is eating it up as stated before but also could be organic phos leaching from rocks.
