I have some recent threads talking about my issue trying to raise my nitrates and phosphates. I have a red 250 (55 gallon display). I use Hanna and test zero for nitrates and phosphates. I dose Red Sea ab+, just started adding in nightly reef Riods (1/8 teaspoon). I have a Red Sea skimmer and grow chaeto. I have 8 smaller sized fish, clown, firefish, basslet, dottyback, melenarus wrasse..

I was curious if anyone with sps runs a biopellet reactor or do they take out too many nutrients.

Ok, so I turned down my skimmer, still read zero nitrates. Just unplugged my biopellet reactor. Will test daily. Hopefully I can register some nitrates
