I think the thin branches have more to do with low flow also I have noticed and of my acros in strong flow stay kind of stubby and fat... Sticks in low flow have longer skinner branches from my exp... Also on the candle light the one I got from poletti along time ago looked like yours I never saw a green one like you posted..

Karsl candlelight is an old school acro that originated from Unarce(guy who had ond of the original chunks of the real icefire echinata and orenji monti). I faintly remeber another purple acro with bright green coralite ridges being called something "candlelight" but I cant remember exactly right now. Maybe Joses candlight concert or something like that?

which candlelights are you referring to? mine or myzislow's? You're probably right but light may be another variable. I experience thinner growth with the corals on the frag plates, which is why I attributed thin growth to lower lighting. I have 2 mp10s on full blast and 2 korallia evo 750 in a 24x24x20 tank. I want more flow but my waterline is too high. a lesson learned for my next upgrade.
MyZisLow~The casas candlelight concert has a staghorn type growth. there are a lot of species with this type of color.
I think that candlelight~ish acro I have may be a nana like ricky mentioned earlier

Wish I had a mother colony shot. WWC might have one, though. This is a first release from them so who knows how big the mother colony is.

The frag I have has very distinct blood-red tips and the base is dark metallic green. I do see some resemblances in your coral. Although the growth tip is much more pointy / cone shaped. The frag I have seems to be growing tight clusters of branches that are not tapering out. It's so small right now though, it might change a bit.

Very nice, healthy corals you have there!
Thanks a lot!!:D This is my first try at SPS and I'm addicted to them:horse:

Agreed! Awesome looking stuff. Do you have a link to your tank details, Lusira?

Thank you:wink:!! I need to start a thread with tank details and info, will do it tonight. Running NP bio-pellets since day one with a cryptic zone sump.
