SPS ID help please

Can you help me identify this specimen? I realize it is from a sponsor but the photo was sent to me by mistake, and I'd just like to ID this beautiful coral.

Not sure on the species. I would just message unique corals since it's from them to get a positive ID

It's acropora. What the particular type of acro, I'm not sure.

I tried and they responded but I was unable to get the name.

I saw that one, and the body seems more forest in color. The tips and polyps seem right, maybe it's just the lighting.

My first guess was acropora austera but the branches seem a little thicker. Look up WWC Yellow Tips or Polletti Yellow Tips.

I think I have arrived at a decision based on BigJims recommendations. Not right on but very very close. I will update when I have the specimen on hand to examine.

It has an acropora gomezi look to it

It is a maricultured piece - it is unnamed. Gomezi looks good enough for me too.

Yeah I was daydreaming of the most intriguing possibilities and found Crown Jewels Acro (tortuosa-gomezi hybrid) and Paletta Tricolor...this being because the polyps are green and the base may have some red(?) The Yellow Tips are close but the polyps are purple. Of course, with our modern day myriad of lighting who knows anymore!

Anyway, I'm pretty excited regardless, very nice looking coral.
